Due to the rapid development of ecological sources of electric energy, including wind farms, there is a need to expand the transmission network in order to enable power transfer from these power plants. The need to expand the transmission network in the northern part of the country requires the commencement of a number of investment projects. The construction of the 400 kV Żydowo Kierzkowo-Słupsk line, constitutes the implementation of public goals.
After construction, the power line will become an important piece of the National Power System, ensuring the stability of its work and security of electricity supply to the distribution system, and therefore it is an investment of supra-local importance.
The Aarsleff company is executing 38 intermediate foundations for this construction using precast piles with a total length of about 15 km.
