Welds generated as a result of friction welding have a compact, stable, metallic structure on the entire cross-sectional area of the connection. Our friction welding machine operates in an automatic cycle using digital control. Each weld is monitored for compliance with the Welding Technology Manual (WPS). All data is saved and archived.
In the process of joining screws made of stainless steel with main reinforcement bars, we use the method of friction welding in accordance with the PN-EN ISO 15620 standard. The qualification of technology (WPAR) was performed by the Welding Institute in Gliwice. The great advantage of this solution is obtaining, within several seconds, a reliable, fully repeatable connection with very good quality and strength parameters. The process consists of using the force of friction to heat up and weld together the joined sections, which in the final phase, after stopping the rotary motion, swell by pressure.
